HOW DO YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES WORK?
Preserving memories from your Sweet & Simple Wedding is our #1 priority and that of most couples who choose us, and our photography service receives the most questions of anything we offer. Beautiful, reliable, quality photography coverage is a hallmark of our wedding services, but because of the volume of questions we thought it would be helpful to answer our most frequent questions in more detail.
We work to showcase your wedding as it happens, a unique reflection of your style and special moments with us over the formulaic trends that dominate Pinterest and Instagram. If you’re seeking to duplicate a grand and lavish wedding, we may not be the best fit. But to showcase your most beautiful, heartfelt and intimate moments, a Sweet and Simple Wedding with our photography coverage offers an easy and refreshing alternative.
DO ALL of YOUR PACKAGES INCLUDE PHOTOGRAPHY?
Our All-Inclusive Packages include photography coverage, and our Ceremony and Express Packages offer photography coverage as a value-added service for an additional charge. Couples with their own photographer or video service can choose a Ceremony or Express Package and value-added services such as cake, champagne toast, appetizers, etc. individually.
DO YOU offer video services?
Sorry but no, we don’t offer video services.
Many couples, especially those who elope with us or choose our Enchanting Courtyard Wedding, ask for a little help to make a recording with their phones instead. We offer tripods with phone mounts you can use for this purpose, and we’re more than happy to assist with setup. You’re also welcome to bring a video specialist or content creator as a guest (we can offer referrals), and our Partners Page describes a great nearby videographer who produced this beauty.
how many photos do we get?
We don’t guarantee a set number of photos because it depends on how your time with us unfolds.
Any number of variables from weather, timing, clothing selections, makeup & hair, number of guests, your own emotional state and more, can affect your photos. We do guarantee that the highlights of your wedding will be covered from the beginning of your ceremony through the end of your time with us. Your ceremony is covered from start to finish, and we take posed photos with your guests. During the rest of your time, we cover events as they happen including your toast, cake cutting, 1st Dance, and we take the two of you for romantic photos as your time with us draws to a close.

We encourage you to explore our website, sample galleries and social media presence to get an idea. Every photo on our website is from a couple we’ve married, and we’ve photographed over 2,000 weddings of all types and sizes, with people from all walks of life, since 2003.
will you shoot everything on my list?
It depends on the content of your list and how your day unfolds.
We make sure to get photos of you and everyone who attends your wedding, cover your wedding as described above and offer a variety of poses and backgrounds. We’re happy to entertain reasonable requests, but we don’t remove or insert people, create scenes that didn’t happen, adhere to lists from big weddings on Pinterest, or portray people in a distorted manner. It’s part of how we keep your wedding Sweet and Simple.
DO WE GET EVERYTHING YOU SHOOT?
No, you receive an online gallery of quality finished images that cover the events of your day as described above. We delete images that don’t meet our quality standards and fix things like a loose string, a small stain or blemish, etc., as we perform a light retouch of the photos for your gallery. In other words, culling and retouch are part of our professional photography service, and for couples who want “everything in raw, warts and all” a content creator may be a better fit.
HOW LONG before we get our photos?
We send a “Sneak Peek” of two or three pictures within 24 hours and guarantee your online gallery to be ready within 30 days. Most galleries are completed in 2-3 weeks, and we follow up with a USB drive of your finished images.
what about printing?
You get unlimited non-commercial use and Unlimited Sharing of your images, which are provided as high-quality JPG images (most will print up to a 16x20 format). You can save by ordering prints of your favorites online from a source like Shutterfly, or for locals we highly recommend our friends at McClanahan Camera in Warrenton.

Most couples enjoy the love and attention, but of course we understand that some prefer discretion until family & friends know and other couples have government or work requirements to avoid sharing their likeness online, concerns about identity theft, or their own personal preference.
